Gate Repair & Driveway Gate Installation in Ocala, FL

The gate is the part of the fence you actually touch every day, and it is the part that fails first when it is built wrong. Undersized posts, no diagonal bracing, an operator matched to the wrong gate weight: those three things cause most of the gate repair calls we take across Marion County.

Common questions

Why does my gate sag?

Almost always an undersized or shallow gate post, or a gate leaf with no diagonal brace. A gate is a lever, and it puts enormous load on the hinge post. The fix is either a properly set oversized post or a welded steel frame inside the gate.

Do I need a permit for an automatic gate?

Electrical work for the operator generally requires a permit, and gates on commercial property have additional access and fire-code requirements including Knox box provisions. We handle permitting as part of the job.

Can you automate my existing gate?

Often yes, if the gate is square, the hinges are sound and the posts can take the load. We inspect first. Automating a gate that already sags just breaks the operator.

What happens in a power outage?

Every operator we install has battery backup and a manual release. The gate will keep cycling for a set number of operations on battery, and can be released by hand if needed.
