Is aluminum fence strong enough?

Residential-grade aluminum is designed for boundary definition and pool code, not impact resistance. If you need a fence that stops a vehicle or resists forced entry, we specify commercial-grade aluminum or steel. For a back yard, pool or front boundary, residential grade is more than adequate.

Will aluminum fence meet Florida pool code?

Only if it is specified correctly. The barrier must be at least 4ft high, with gaps under 4 inches, no climbable horizontal rails on the outside, a self-closing self-latching gate that opens away from the pool, and the latch at the required height. We build to that spec and note it on the permit.

Does the black finish fade?

A quality powder coat holds up for decades in Florida sun. What fails on cheap panels is thin coating over untreated aluminum. We install pre-treated, AAMA-rated finishes with a manufacturer warranty.

Can I combine aluminum with a privacy fence?
